Went well I would suggest you have friend or family member to tag team you. I did not track where stuff was packed and stored within my apartment. Make a list of bagged/boxed items and where they were placed as you go along! Otherwise great experience!!!

I cannot rave enough about Hoarder Cleanup Service. Seeing my brother's apartment after he recently passed left me in a state of shock and panic and had no idea how I was going to get the apartment cleaned and suitable for sale. After calling multiple companies most of whom would only do a piece of the job I got in touch with Hoarder Cleanup. From the moment we started discussing the apartment to the initial meeting and estimate everything went as smoothly as possible. Their staff were terrific and really helpful. Phone calls were either answered or returned promptly. Bonni and Raul led me through the initial clean out, deep clean, floors refinishing and painting all very timely and smoothly done without any issues. Having one company that was extraordinarily reliable do each piece and work with the management company of my brother's apartment made this so much easier than i ever anticipated. The price was very fair. I would recommend them without any reservations whatsoever.

They did great work! The apartment is like new--you would never know the state it had been in. Perfectly clean and fresh smelling. They were completely professional and provided superb customer service. I can't recommend them highly enough.
A relative's apartment had degenerated into a disgusting state, becoming a health hazard. We needed someone to remove soiled furniture and carpets, and clean out spoiled food. Also there was an almost unbearable odor that needed to be dealt with.

My 70 yr old mother had recently relocated and her home was in desperate need of a deep cleaning. I had the pleasure of working with a woman named Lili and her team of cleaners who made the process of going through decades of clutter a stress free experience. I would highly recommend this company to any one who wants a cleaning service that will care for your home and property as if it were their own. At one point during the cleaning process there was an unfortunate accident that resulted in a decanter I got from the White House being broken. The decanter was an item that had a lot of sentimental value to me and after apologizing and seeing how devastated I was by the loss of such a important item Lili and her team were crying alongside me . I genuinely appreciate the care and thoughtfulness that each and every one of them put into the labor of cleaning my home. I know have a beautiful home and they were kind enough to replace the broken decanter with the closest one that could be found. They even had contacts which helped me find an exterminator.

Great. Lily and her team were hard working. They barely stop to eat lunch. Then back to work. They bring ionizers that cleanse the air in your home, leaving it smelling fresh and new. They pay attention to details. I stayed on the property during the process. For me, I found I could ask or tell them to do certain things or not to do some things. And they always obliged. I would recommend this. Communication is important during a massive clean out.

Again I can't say enough about Raul and his crew. I first met Raul when he came and did a complete clean out of home from there he recommended that I clean and sanitize home. My parents’ house and my childhood home is over 60 years old. Clutter and mildew had accumulated as my parents reached their golden years and could no longer maintain the up keep that they had grown accustomed to. After their passing, I needed to get 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, den, kitchen and basement uncluttered and super clean before putting the house on the market. Raul met with me, reviewed the house and told me not only could he get rid of the clutter but would deep clean, disinfect and sanitize the house in one day. In my mind, I was thinking the job would at least take 2 days. In reading prior reviews on Angie’s List, Clutter Free Junk Removal/ New York Home Cleaning had a good reputation on delivering their promises. I met with Raul and team at 9:00am in the morning and he told me to come back at 5:00pm and the job would be completed. I left them alone, Raul called me before 5pm when the job was completed. Upon arrival Raul gave me a tour and after reviewing the entire house I was amazed how each room was brought back to life. All the clutter was removed and all mildew and odors were gone as promised.

Raol was such a sweetheart. He bought my Grandma a whole bathroom set to replace things he removed. Many things were damaged. He was so kind. We weren't here when he came to do the cleanout and when we returned it was all done. We didn't have anything to worry about. He returned all of her valuables to us in a box.
